Edamame with garlic and chili

My friend Amy loves this spicy and healthy appetizer that I learned to prepare while visiting the Skylonda Lodge and Spa in the SF Bay Area. Amy suggested that this recipe is blog-worthy ~  so in honor of her birthday, here it is. Give it a try and you might be asked to blog about it, too.
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tsp minced fresh ginger (can omit)
2 lb steamed edamame
1 chopped fresno chili pepper or some red chili flakes
2 Tbsp each soy sauce and white wine (can omit the wine)
2 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
2 tsp sesame seeds

Heat the oil and add the garlic and ginger. Add soy beans and chile, then soy sauce and wine until heated through and liquids have evaporated. Finish with sesame seeds and cilantro ~ serve hot.
